History: Akane's mom was living in sweden before she met her husband and moved with him to his home country japan. There they got Akane. His Mom insisted giving him a swedish name to so his second name is "Kjell". Later Akane's mom admitted that she got another son with another man. But she was far too young back then so she gave him away to the orphanage. Akane started to become interested in his half brother. He liked the thought of having an older brother and wished to meet him. Akane tried to find out more about his brother but he probably was still back in sweden, right? He was slightly dissapointed that he wouldn't get to know him. He started to call older or taller boys "Nii-chan", maybe to compensate the "loss" of his older brother, without telling someone. Like his older brother he developed soon a passion for swimming and decided to join Hayami-Gakuen
