Background story: Yori was born in a wealthy family. His parents were very strict and always wanted him to be the best. So Yori had to learn lots and had never time for the "fun" stuff in life. Since he lived in a wealthy family, he didn't notice about the evil kamui that possess people and cause trouble in the city. Of course he new from the news paper and the TV but that all seemed like a legend to him, until he made friend with a kamui. He didn't seem corrupted to him. He was like a human. A bit bold and perverted though. The two of them became friends soon.
His parents would never allow that so it was a secret friendship. But once Yori's Kamui friend became strange and avoided him. Yori didn't want to lose his friend because he was important to him. When the Kamui someday disappeared Yori looked for him. When Yori found him his Kamui friend turned into a monster and almost devoured him. But somehow he managed to turn him back to his normal self. He wanted to protect his friend from turning to a monster again and decided to find the cause that changed the Kamui into evil monster. That's why he's in Revocs-Gakuen and why he gathers strong human and kamui around him to fight for a world where kamui and human live peacefully together.

Additional information:

- he can't really wear kamui because he's too embarrassed about it and they would suck too much from his blood
  if it's really necessary he can brace himself
- He hides his feelings most of the time so you can hardly guess in which mood he is
- He likes reading porn with his Kamui friend but you won't ever find him doing it or admit that he does
- He actually cares for the people around him lots
